To    JAKARTA  ......  took our 4WD vehicles   by......
...LAnd....  Sea ... Air..

HOw....  POssible.....    ????? 

.....but... .Times....  had to be patience...  too

....nn this is d' continuation of previous blog ...

....a journey from BSB, Brunei to Sibu... to Pontianak ... nn now .. leaving Pontianak to Jakarta ...

Arrangement had been done to ship our 4wd vehicles.. nn Us.. NO trouble.. but had to spend  more $.. to fly to Jakarta..  each was NOT expensive at that time of d' year round as we booked earlier for budget airline with Pa' Harry our guide travel's agent contact  ..... about B$100 or equalled to R600++one way...

Many people had been here...   BUt ..NOT many were coming here just for DRIVING Leisure .....

D' XpDc was leading  Us more ... further... to acknowledge our ability to drive in a city like JAKARTA ... nn so ..

JAKARTA ... as we knew... much from films ... Indonesian..  d' lives... people .. land.. history... economy... politics ...nn so ... as we share common language ...    understand more of d' country ...

This is a story....of.. pictures.... ...    long distant xpdc... journey to d' other island..... JAVA ....

Yes... three years ago...more ... a time when my children still looked very young ...nn

... of coz ...we're STronger....  ???



ADAM AIR...  took Us abroad.... to Jakarta..
Budget airline... of Indonesia .............

First..... Going to airport...specially chartered...a couch .. bus..  easier way for d' whole group ....

Before departuring...    at Pontianak Airport...  to Jakarta ..



Here..... families ...

Pa Hj Ibrahim, wife nn son..
Haji Suhaimi, wife nn two daughters nn son,
Pg. Hj Mohidden, wife nn daughter,..
me spouse nn two daughters nn son .. nn others.. with cars all male' passangers.. companions..

... nn ...  not least...  Pa Harry nn his assistants....





ADAM Air ...  was d' nearest... accepted budget for all of us ... served only water's plastic packet to each passenger...   ??

This was also d' nearest ever allowed to take pictures....  around airport... ???

So... flying.. only a matter of unremembered times...   landing soon.... 9.30 am... still early morning day ....





   

Registered for night stayed in Jakarta  at Hotel Sahid, Jalan Sudirman...

... 2 rooms each R450,00 a day ...

While waiting ... great news received from sms....  PMB Results....
...Haji Suhaimi's daughter scored excellent grading... nn.. so Zakka.. with straight 8As ... too

Soon checked IN ....  NOT to waste  ....   took easier transportation here by Tram..   shuttled buses.. going round according to d' buses - routes, simply charging @R3500...  stopped at Senyan Plaza ....

Typical Jakarta traffic  ... here...  with all types of vehicles....

Hari Libur .....  

Taxi ... cost R41,500 ....   so to ....

Ancol... Jakarta was a popular place of Fantasy World.... a place for people to relax .... for younger people to play around....

BUt ...not forgetting to pay d' tickets' entrance fees...  eeh..  ok special 50% discount  ....  for today ONly......

So  just took a look around.. see d' direction's map of d' playground... games..  nn   ..Q.  to enter..   see ..clear WOrds of NOtice board...  ANTRI DARI SINI ... 30 MENIT ...

...meaning ..simply... entering here .... waiting times about 3o minutes ....







So WHy NOT... trying... each games provided here....

Roller Coaster...   ..  going round nn round .... wheels

But first ... had to wait.. for Q ...nn let,  Zakka.. Liyana .. Malina.. spent times playing ... while us waiting ...???

Then....  actually SEA World.. another part of Ancol place.. 2km walked...

Animals.. mammals.. fishes...   all in water...  could be seen here...

Jakarta ...  stopped at Tanah Abang...... popular place for clothings  ... whole sale .....  where all sort of people around ... looking ...  buying...

By Taxi... passing throught the city..... high raising building of NEW Jakarta









U would  NOT MIss....  popular sight of Jakarta  .... WHat ?????

Land Mark...   of Jakarta..  was here since along time AGo....

Jakarta  ......    the aged structure ... but ..popular .. land mark of Jakarta  .. city of metropolitan..

Places like Altrium Plaza, Jalan Senin... Cempaka Mas... Semanggi Plaza were visited... NOt to waste while in Jakarta..

While passing..  just leaving TANAH ABANG area...

...so many people around...

SEE...  why in d' busy CITY of metropolitan... goats...  everywhere.... on streets ... as well ...

THEY were specially for SALE....

Of..COZ...

ADIL ADHA  .....   was around...  20 December.... !!

Another day... delayed .. 

Our 4wd vehicles were still on SEA ... still on ship ... ON d' Way...

... too long stayed here ...in Jakarta   nn..  soo..

Suggested Hj Ibrahim.. forwarded Pa' Harry to take Us for a trip to BAndung..

So..  a special coach.. hired for us for a half day trip leaving around 12.00 noon nn arriving at 3.00pm..

....spent hours before back to Hotel Sahid at late evening..







Bandung ....  last day rest while in Jakarta.......
