    ......nOt only d' building but d' architectural design ....nn    d' name ...

This was ..........d' focus point we like to see ....... believe or NOt ... this gothic MASTerpiece is located on the lie de la CIte .... a small ISLand in d' heart of d' CITy.........

 Walking .....along d' Paris Street ...... roads   ... broads .....but had to be carefull   .... follow    .....d' .. zebra .... crossing ...

Building under construction ..... working on process .....  usually walls were beautified with colours ...... designs .... sort of people .... all life .....

Observe carefully on top left ..... nOt clear ... but.. describing ...living people ...here, in Paris...... active  and  ...kicking ......

            All shops like to cater for d' best interest of tourist ...... such as.. take away ... cash ... souvenirs ........

Bikes .....NOt unusual here ... more people made used for simple excess to destinations .... easy parking as well ...........

Our curiousity to know more .... as people passed nn walked on d' frontage...

NOt d' largest CAThedral in d' world .....but it might be d' MOSt FAmous of all cathedrals ...... as noted ...
D' site of Notre Dame is d' cradle of Paris nn has always been d' religious center of d' city ....



OK... Uu would nOt keen to know more ....
BUt here ...  HAD to .... IF UUu ..1st degree ... 
                                                by profession.. ARChitect ....
...so ...WHy ...nOt .....  ????
..... d' history .... Bishop Maurice de Sully started d' construction in 1163 ..... It took until 1345 before d' cathedral was completed ...d' design was enlarged during construction .... BUT during FRance REvolution, many of d' cathedral's sculptures, gargoyles nn interior was removed or demolished .....
 ...only until 19th century d' Cathedral was fully restored ...


TImes spent NOt too long ..... just look ..INside...          people ...
           .............   most .....Christianity  .....
NOtre Dame de Paris ... ....d'story of cathedral was restored in stages ...until again between 1991 nn 2001....this time d' historic arcthitecure was carefully preserved ....
THose ....who study arcthitecture in EUrope ...would probably .... has to do more research here ..... 


SO leaving ..... very soon ... but still passing shops of sourvenirs.....
NOt to describe in details as ........all d' things are recorded .... here
But.... what.. sometimes... decent t shirts .... IF Uu DAre to wear.....

ARc de TRiomphe ....is ONe of d' MOst FAMous monuments in PAris. It stands in d' central of d' Place Charles de Gaulle .......

     To go here .... make sure Uu take one of d' underpasses to d' arch... it is too dangerous to try to CROss d' street .... NO elevetor to d' arch... so prepared to walk UP 234 steps ....

Arc de Triomphe ...... or Triumphal ARCH ..... as seen taken from website.....  in d' heart of Paris  ... surrounded .......directional roads nn ONe main central street .......



D' Arc is located on d' right bank f d' Seine at d' centre of PENTAGON - shaped .......at d' end of d' CHamps Elysees, in d' middle of d' Place Charles de Gaulle a large circular square from which NO less than 12 streets emanaate.......d' streets are named after French military leaders ....

 ......so tired ...... there was NOt much to DO now .....
           .......getting late .... 8.00 pm ...
  

 Going North ........ along d' street on left hand side ........ so many branded famous names ..... JUSt look at SWATCH  .....
            ........as getting late ...Police Riders were ready on Duty....
Sun down ..... so getting darker ...... NOW.. Night favour ..to celebrate ....
 

Muslim ..... nn Halal food ...... so Uu could order something to eat ....
WHy NOt ........ seemed bright light day ....
                   ..............actually ...SUMMer ...10.00pm....
...soon after ... retreat back to HOTel ....de' AMien......
            ...would have another day tomorrow ..... ready ..going abroad .....

(a night ...... a challenging nite coz...checked OUt one room ... so 6 in 1 ... meaning we were squeezing into ONe rented HOTel room ...unaware to d' hotel care taker ....... wwwooo ... budgeting ...lol )
