Made firstly ...our respected Biker (nO other Bruneian Dato ever dare to challage him ... as I thought)  .....a brief  introduction ..... (but find out more) .....this convoy intiated by him ... Retired Senior Government officer ......now ..doing own business ..owning 3 restaurants ...wooo... Love..biking since young  while workiing at foreign affairs....(around d' year 1985) .. owned ...FAst ..sporting bike .... but while posted overseas ..... loved more to convenience vehicles ..like branded names'..cars .....(still have at home)......

Lately before ...retiring ....surprising most senior officers .. seated droven by drivers ... but his loves ...couldn't be parted.... motor...BIKINg to office .....

......now Riding ......Harley.... d' choice....

 

Assistant .......secretariat to this trip... sort of ..PA ...ah....  unknown more to me.....but... early retirement (meaning more than 20 years ..IF my deaf ears are right..???) from armed forces  ...enable him now doing own ........business .....
.......about motorcycling ....... of Coz...... starting from light motorcycles .... like ..scooter ...NOW ..owns ..big ...Harley ..... aaahhhh !! ...............

So... more to discover.......... ????

 

He is a man ..... my room partner during a trip to POntianak this year......... well ..more.... a well made himself .... doing good business too .....won a tender piping in TEMburong ....kah ????  .... could .... be somebody IF ..more ..hardwork ..... NOt surprising .......... owning .....Harley bikes .....(he was using a much smaller type when we went to Pontianak) .....watch urself...
NOw... brandly... new not later...3 months oLD... BIG Harley.....

RIDING......... most people dream to Ride ......he now got a new big ..Harley ....tooo       ...WWwooo

.....my room partner .....might ..something negative to  hear .....telling .....people's secret ......aaahh.. ok  ...everybody ...... but..most likely ...bikers with .....loud snoring..... unavoidable tiring .... so nite rest together exposed everythings .....Frankly ..nO heart feelings ...didn't mind ....OK... he too ..my adviser ..I heard ... hear most ..... all d' times.... (room mate ..ah) ....NON considering ...large gap....  ages...between us......

Well... I think ...he is an aggressive entrepreneur ..... targeting a millioner...within a year.... could BE possible.... IF he is considering a more WELL displined contractor ..... builder.....wshop owner.... wow ..ur might jealous ... he could own everything... at young age..........

Riding .....motor ...Victory ...... USA made ..... NOt many ...nn... NEW to.. Brunei..... worldwide ..too.

..Ur housemate fire U..if too much .....abroad... which  I don't like to hear..but..reality ....love to ride ..often .....acually .... this time ..lots  to choose... a week before ..Labuan Raya Ride (took part).... a week after this DJ Semporna Ride (so to be included).... this week ...I am also welcomed to join another TRip (had to reject) ......say....might d' same route...???..

...so another ....MIri Ride .....weekend...aaahhh.... (not to be included as well)

       ... buttt ...but ..still... willing to see...eeeee.......

...he is a proud IRONMan..... of coz... considered young ... also ..an entrepreneur ... in TEmburong ... sort of ..export...import business ....nn.. others ..name a few .... (U might ask people in Temburong to discover more)

Knew this easy make friend guy ...to all .. (eeh... also no gender's border) ... ever ...a few years ago ...when ..I  ..joined 4WD ...so knowing him since a convoy 4wd motor trip to Indonesia in mid year 2000s..... actually ..more .. lots of space... to describe. ...(already...LOts about him in my previous blogs' stories).....

....this time over...eeemm.... RIDING..... he had to break d' milage first....BRandly NEW..Big Harley...... aaaaa (he owned ... already many types..... eversince involved motorcycling ......

He is also ...friendly nn.. happy go lucky person.......... Biking ..... saw him with Temburong Bikers....nn... during ...Honda Trip to KK .... he came with his spouse last time ...over...

 

Coming to join xpdc.. at d' border check point Sindumin - Sipitang....

....he is nOt using his Goldwing ....as told ....Harley ...a loan from ..Bro..Haji Jimmy... his bike he brought during d' Pemoda ..Pontianak Convoy....

... so ....a Breakfast .......... Briefing ..Collecting Funds .....nn .. intoducing ... to participatation people.....  at d' moment ..8 Bikers.... 4 supporter persons..with car nn trailer...



 

.............passing Temburong ..through Panduran Ferry ......
(a bridge is NOW in progress to sort out traffic congestion during week ends nn ...during school holidays... hopefully  to complete nn ready .....NExt year)...

on d'way............... nOn stop riding...nOt an easy road's surface ....... but less traffic.... .....  hilly...up down...corners.... more wonderful scenery ..... some climbing high up .......d' motorbikers love these....

So Reaching TENOm.... noon ...around ..12.15pm..not to be exact.... Lunch here..... at a corner Eating Restaurant ..Tenom....

              ..................... so ..hungry......... ah....




 

................... a Keningau Biker came to assist ...riding together.....
......... another  few kilometers from Tenom to Keningau...........
brought to this spot....to pray at a near road side mosque...as TOday is Friday ....but...already missed FRIday's Prayer............ actually

Lastly..reaching RANAU ..... d' bottom down mountain town ...........

      .......to stay overnite ...here in KUndasang.....
Riding from Ranau ... had to climb up.. d' mountainous road of Kinabalu National Park...road..... so reaching ... up for d' hotel .....PERKasa Hotel.... Kundasang....

 





 

.Back to............. d' foot ... Kundasang town .... a few restaurants offering Muslim foods ..... so all joined to have ...diinner before reassign back to hotel ...up mountain......

..... a kampong .......now a small town ..(had been passing this town..ever since d' year 2000 .... progressing took place to develop ...eventhough ...took times in pace...one step after another..... used to stop at this coffee shop too..???)

Staying ...around 30minutes before continued our journey......... time taker was Non other ..DJ...d' boss of this convoy....???? 

 

 

Curiousity......questions...nn answers........ made perfect education..... rather than attending machenical classes ..... No ..this is only part of our knowledges pick UP from sharing ..... d' best things when we were together...... helping hands...

This place was a Check Point ..filling Station...(clear name above) ...to Tawau... to Sandakan...... at 11.50am...nearing noon.... 



 

...........a 20 minutes..destination.....to place....KINAbatangan (there must be a story behind d' name....if ..Uu asked me to guess ...of Coz.... Kina ..means Cina ..batangan .....a chinese with hands....???... well... otherwise....... U're wrong..????)

...having Lunch...here.... hungry....while ..soon going ....nn ... some ..waiting here at yellow eating road side house ....... for  some went for....Noon prayer.....a mosque on d'hill ...

 

..........proceeding another hour...about...... to a popular stop over town.... now NO longer..... a sea site town....as used to be named... LAHAT DATU..
.( along time ago...sea routes were popular ..so ..Lahat Datu..was one of d'chosen sea town' s stop over....) Shops are growing like mushrooms..... bigger town...with shops ....nowadays.....

But ..locality...still sighted ...on d' way....these animal roaming around d' road..... had to slow down.... nn ..stopped..worrying for d' weather likely to rain.... cloudly all d' way.....

 

......Pekan KuNAK ........another newly..growing town.... that's WHy ..called "Pekan"...(a meeting place..for a short -cut to Semporna ..without using d' old road to Tawau)

Just ..look at d' shops .... stopped here.....as expected RIders from....SEMporna....came to wait...fetch ....welcome us.....

(Aziz also made contacts .....a few being made acknowledgable to our present) ........Staying until 4.45pm..........

so...........Semporna Bikers.... brought us round to d' inner route passing few villages before reaching....seaside..SEMPorna town... location.....

              ......Restaurant...... Bismillah ..Semporna....


 

............. so meeting place.... ffor... Bikers.... rest nn ...took refreshment.....
 a group from TAWau.... here too... d' Lady Biker(Melinda) was from Tawau ...with her company ..so called SIBat Masiga (facebook's name..picure to d' left) from TBBOC (Tawau Big Bikes Owner Club) just to greet nn meet us here..... as our schedule ...route would NOT including Tawau..... was a closed Riding Biker with a Brunei Group...during d' Blowpipe Ride ..from Kuching to KK ... d' last ... after d' Pontianak BIIBBF.... June.... (so Ali entertained her).....

Whille ...d'rest ....preferred to a concrete HOTel...just near ..opposite..popularly know tourist hotel ........................

..........here..... d' fifth man was somebody ..biker too ...but he (a police guard) was assigned to protect nn watch ..our bikes ..just near...d' police post guard (house with blue roof ........eeemmm... a great adventage ..ah..)

A permanent hut for police here  .....  we just made friend last nite..... for a favour.... authority people could look after our precious asset in this expedition ......... only 4 bikes.....
