KELANTAN BIKE WEEK

This post is going to cover pictures taken during "KELANTAN BIKE WEEK' on the 3rd and 4th April 2010. The even was a very successful according to the organizer....the participants were unexpected from all over the corners, as this was d' 1st ASEAN gathering - Brunei, Thailand, Singapore, a foreign country - Argentina and of coz, the host, Malaysia.

A stop in Kelantan was actually well planned to attend "Kelantan Bike Week". It was just on time after a long distance journey from Kuala Lumpur.....Heavy rain at the closer journey a few hours before our arrival at Kota Bharu....which supposed would usually took 5 hours....we almost took 6 hours or more as we took rests on the way...of coz we took preciousion on the roads...

This was part of Yamaha Expedition's schedule to attend the night gathering - opening ceremony, and the morning bikes' convoy. We only stayed a night at the hotel here, and had to proceed to another location late the afternoon..





Not suprisingly Tok Haji Tuan Guru Nik Aziz was given the lead to open at the morning bikes gathering declared 'Opened' - starting with a group big bikes convoy to Bachok.... 



All sort of motor bikes...including tricycles.....
spider tricycles were popular here.
According to the organizer, around 1600 motor bikes took part...???

We were able to mixed with the other bikers....but here we tend to get together....



First convoy's stop was at the Inmates Rehabilitation Center for the drug abuse called  PUSPEN BACHOK. This was meant for the females ONLY....it was the only one for the non-mixed.....!!!  right in Kelantan....  of coz'...

We were given warm welcomed...with traditional songs...

and food and drinks...thank Uuuu...

Took pictures with females...not inmates....Who were the ladies...????



The Chairman of the organizer, Dr. Nik OMAR was standing right behind us....the ladies seemed happy to meet us Bruneians too. Why???....They were also Bruneians...five of them...on a short term course - all about this drug abuse, etc.....may be.. We didn't question them as we didn't have much time...we had to move on......of coz they're home now..



Bikes....bikes.....bikes.....all sort.....most beautiful



Last stop at TOK BALI, Pasir Puteh, we were being served here...drinks...later,  food....NOT forgetting a stage official speech by the Chairman and the appointed political leader of PAS...anywhere...thank U very much.....for not let us being hungry ....
