BIIBBF

Borneo Island International Big Bike Festival..... ooohh!!

Now... the members are all in 1 Borneo...

Brunei, Sabah, Sarawak...Labuan as Wilayah Persakutuan, n Pontianak, Kalimantan, Indonesia...

Once a year a paticular place in these 5 States/countries would host d' "Bike Week". It would be ONCE in every 5 years... waah.....so long ehh.

Last year...LABUAN played as a host.... NEXT....would be..KK, Sabah.... lah.

N....see....11years already...!!!

N... make sure Ur bike is above 600cc.... consider big..!!!

Mine... d' 1st time 2006... joined... only 400cc... eeeh

but to me... my bike was.... BIGggg....!!! kkeehh..

The people responsible for the success were here ...thanks to d'other helpful members...too n ...

During d' week ends, Brunei audiences were happier n cheerer to see Jalan Sultan back to colourful n cheerful crowded place ... that was never being seen for quite a longggg.. time....

D' evening n night before dinner...bikers were Registaring their attendance ... at d' offical place Riverview Hotel, Gadong...
By 8.00pm..everybody were with their club's jercy... with colourfull uniforms too.....

DAY 1

Past years, we had West M'sia representatives... Philippines too....

"Makan" usually being served..... later Briefing d' programme 11th BIIBBF ....

Not forgetting d' important aspect of... Safety Briefing.....

DAY 2

All d' motor bikes were assembled n parked at mid- front of Yayasan compound facing SOAS Mosque...

A place..nice to have pictures for rememberance too....

Today, I rode my Yamaha XJ900P... the white motorbike...

a rare nice bike too.... before... only one in Brunei... now U can see the Officers at Landstransport Department are using as official vechicles..... for road blocks ...n..so

See back.. whooo..??. but...front...eeehh eehh...!!!

Here... familiar faces......3 musketeers ... eh bukan...jua....

Three Temburong Bikers... saja..

Hey.....The programme was not to hang around n took pictures only.....

Come on.... lets' go to "Royal Regalia"..... foreign participants especially... must go...we too...long time not visiting ...eh..

Next to go.... d' water front... what for...????

Ok...not to waste.... everybody... went for free boat trips.... a few boats waiting.. .... specially hired for this occasion.....

This newly built Kampong Ayer Gallery is just situated in front of the water front of old Brunei Wharf..... the building is meant to cater for tourists.... so this is a place to visit to see Brunei's Culture as well as 'Tourism Gallery'...

Here..U could see History of Kampong Ayer.... handicraft....all in d' four galleries..... observe by U self n U know how little our knowledges n knowhow... of our country... Brunei...????

N...this area was once.....houses...school...n ... a Kampong Ayer hotel was here too...... all gone... coz of FIRE......

Back to Yayasan.... n photos' taking were in progress... Look at Bob... offical cameramen n reporter too.

D' Evening Venue.....Jalan Sultan... another place to assemble n park all bikes properly n nicely...

Night stalls...all booths were promoting motor vehicles...n so.

People were coming to see.....

but the offical programme was to launch d' 11th BIIBBF...

..... in the hearth of Bandar Seri Begawan ...... luckly, d' town was decorted n ready for Sultan's 64th Birthday in a 2 weeks' times.

All in 1 night.....Dinner to paticiptants... after the Guest of Honour n invited guests, n club's representatives visited booths...

Honour Guest receiving 'Momento n in returned had to present certificates to Participants... to Sponsors... n later... to d' next host...

"Handing Over 11th BIIBBF Flag to Sabah".

DAY 3

Bikers were advised to assemble at the hotel compound at 8.00 am... before morning ride.....

Today, going to ride my blue Goldwing....

All bikes were here....

D' theme for riding at this festival was "GREEN HEART RIDE'.... supposed a short ride to Jalan Mulaut...to Lumapas.... a one way about 40 minutes......!!

Stopped at the Fire Bridged's Building...

BOMBA place... lah... about 15 minutes break n drinks. ... n back to Jalan Bengkurong, Jalan Tasik Meradun-Bunut, passed to Istana- Jalan Tutong....and to venue.. Jalan Sultan...to end the ride here..
