FLY IN n OUT ... TO LKW Uni, KL

A flash back story....

July was a busy month in Brunei....Sultan's 64th Birthday....That was the nearing first semester for the new intakes.. The registration would be on Monday 26th July, while at the same week 'Graduation' for the final year students would be on 24th - Saturday.... Unkown to us... except through on line website, we were able to contact the officers in LKW Uni... Fly with Air Asia was the possible way of low cost airlines.... here we were on the 21st, the earlier the better for unknown to be known...

My wife's cousin is in KL, working n married to Negeri Sembilan, he was already being informed to give a hand on our arrival......lucky...U..



Wow...what a great time   .....minutes n hours passed soo quickly...

Last Saturday, 18th September after a brief break...Raya
time, ... not only celeberated in Brunei...Malaysia is also a Muslim country....a week break was enough time to be with the loved family back home.... 
Liyana brought back to KL some favourite's raya cakes like...kuih moor...and ever lasting...cek lapis....not original Bruneian... of coz





For the first timer, ..we just observed and saw the surroundings...with ahhh...nice look and modern...not too surprising....we already saw in the internet..ah..ah.. But.. BLACK is the trade mark colour for this university...even the building is painted with ' black'.  Well.. got the impression... that must be gooood....if NOT excellent....



Seeing around.. it was Thursday... n.. there were people ...we came before the formal 'Registration' for the new students.. Better we thought... as we wanted to settle everthings if possible... payment was a MUST...for school fees,..lodging, transportation, etc... wah...so many...even the internet ...not free...



Everything seemed to be OK...    so we walked around... even my cousin, a local, never had been here... so this opportunity was a great way to share the knowledges.. for.. not well known university, to some M'sian.... for the updated...there are few Bruneians here (lost count), in different fields...   ohh yeh....Not under government sponsorship....lah...pity...  but if Ur parents were working with d' Government... U may claim too.... B$800... This is similar to our child studying in the private school in Brunei... but outside U needs letters of approval too, not to forget, to refer for the accredition at d' MOE.... for the safe course study and so on .... as a guarntee benefit to our investment !!!...



This is 1 campus building where a vast area surrounded by rooms and courses' activities. The caferia is also one roof to serve with different menu on food stalls nearby.... U won't get hungry here...   eeeh



The modern architectural would probably insist our perception this university is really going to make a real innovation for creative people.....lol..




An early bird gets d' worm....ia kah...nya org putih tu....

Desaria Villa, a place where all students especially the new under graduates have to stay here.. This is LKW Uni hostel. ..  3,500 people could accomodate in this area....fully package with shedule timed to campus about 4-5km, week day transportation to Mine Shopping Center, Tesco and so...  securely guarded by accomodition securities.

Liyana was the first to arrive, n share the fifth floor with other 2-singlerooms with d'Chinese n 2-Indians in d' master bedroom.
